How to prepare general studies for the RPSC RAS exam?

RPSC RAS exam is conducted every year to hire the officers for Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS). RPSC RAS is the topmost examination on the state level to recruit administrative officers for Rajasthan state. RAS examination is conducted by Rajasthan Public Service Commission. This is one of the most difficult exams in the state also.

The RPSC conducts the RPSC RAS Exam every year to fill the Group-A and Group-B positions in the administrative department of the state.

RPSC RAS examination is conducted through three stages in which first is a preliminary examination,  2nd one is the mains, and the interview round at the end.  RAS pre section includes one paper of objective type of 200 marks. Whereas mains Contains a total number of 4 papers Including theory and descriptive of 800 marks. The interview round will be 100 marks. These Exams are one of the toughest exams at the state level. The Difficulty of these exams is set to the graduation level. Graduation is compulsory to appear in the RAS RPSC exam from any recognized university.

RPSC Ras Prelims Syllabus 2021

  • This is the qualifying stage, aspirants must pass this exam to reach mains.
  • One paper of total of 200 marks will be asked
  • There are general topics divided into two parts where one topic would be asked specifically about the art and culture of Rajasthan and the remaining one covers general topics as we have described below section-wise.
  • The overall timing is 3 hrs to attempt prelims for a total number of 200 marks.
